as i embrace age 55, i reflect on my life, learned lessons and accomplishments. I often think about what's really important to me.
I began traveling at 6 1/2 years of age. I remember boarding a Pan Am Flight leaving Jamaica to meet my new adopted parents in London, England. I was terrified with the thought of leaving my safe space in Jamaica with family. i didn't realize this was the beginning of my culturalizatiAson ( being exposed or subject to the influence of culture) and my world education.
Years later, after traveling to countries like West Africa, Canada, mexico, Antigua, Bahamas, Jamaica, Dominican republic, I appreciate these life time experiences, cultural lessons, interesting people, ethnic food, unique places and diverse practices.
i understand and appreciate cultural diversity. In spite of our cultural differences, i realize, human beings share so much in common.
Take time out of your business to live well and travel often. you might learn something new, blessings!
