Life Reflections: Next Chapter of Life

As I sit here reflecting on the past few months with the declining health of my father, I have finally come to a significant turning point in my next chapter.

After my awakening trip to Florida to visit my parents, I made the conscious decision to go before God, asking him for clear directives for my next steps. The fact still remains that I have a life, career and family in California and it is not so easy to simply drop all of these things to relocate to help my mother care for my father. The other point to make is that I am the only child for my parents. The logical process would be for the child to take care of the needs of their parents. The Bible even alludes to that fact.
